Between June and October, the Westfield Farmers Market takes up residence at the downtown train station.

Westfield is home to nine parks totaling over 207 acres. These include the 106-acre Tamaques Park and its mile-long jogging path, eight tennis courts, two playgrounds, and numerous other sports fields and picnic areas. Scenic 44-acre Brightwood Park is a heavily-wooded sanctuary with a pond and waterfall at its center.
